Guest guest
I started taking cortef almost 5 months ago. I took 15 mg for the first couple months, then went to 20mg and have stayed there. I had no side effects at all other than feeling better than I ever have in my life as far as ability to handle stress, being patient with my daughter, able to laugh and just relax like a normal person, not being fatigued constantly! For me it's been a life saver. I'm about to start on armour for hypothyroid after my iron/ferritin levels come up. I expect I may need to take both for quite awhile...i also just found out that i'm celiac and also casein sensitive so once I get those food sensitivities under control..maybe the adrenal/thyroid issues will heal somewhat to where I can go off some of the meds...we'll see! Have you started on HC yet? Hope it goes well for you! Guest guest
Not yet, I'm trying to come to terms that I might have to be on ANOTHER drug for the rest of my life. Just seeing everyones experiences. Thanks > > > > I was wondering how long everyone has been on Cortef or HC of some > sort? > > And how much you take? > > And...the most important, any reactions/ experiences along the way. > > > > I'm learning with my new conditions, I might HAVE to take some > dosage > > of it for the rest of my life.
