Guest guest
Thanks Val! So basically, I shouldn't worry abomut stress dosing until I'm on my optimal dose. I'm not taking thyroid and am not planning on starting any until my HC is where it needs to be. Or would it be better to start taking small doses of thyroid now as well? I would not try thyroid until your temps are stable. But if you graph them NOW you will know when you get to enough HC. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Okay, so I understand that if we're under a lot of stress for some reason (sickness, accident, etc.) that our adrenal glands aren't able to produce the extra cortisol needed for that stressful event, and thus the need to stress dose with HC to make up for it, is that right? Something really bad could happen, right? What is the bad thing that could happen? I always read that in the HC literature that I find from drug and medical sites, but they never say exactly what would happen. Also, if a person has adrenal fatigue and they're NOT taking HC (say they haven't been diagnosed or are unaware that they have adrenal issues) and a really stressful event happens in their, life, then what happens? That same bad thing? Carol
