Lessee, that's 5280 x 4.125 = 21780. feet. 21780/9039=2.41 ft/step. Hey, that's close to the regulation military step of 30 inches.

9039 steps/56 = 161 steps per minute. In the US Army, the regular time was 120/minute, and double time was 180 steps per minute. Gee and that was 49 years ago. Me 'at's off to you! I might be able to do that if a rabid dog was chasing me. My son runs races at 7.6 mph for the mini-marathons. Your speed would be 4.4 mph.

Gracias, señor ....did not know my speed at all! You see all those

numbers and figuring make my mind go numb. Well, I was sore the

rest of the day...my hips always get all stiff when I do that long

one. I did not walk today but am planning on doing pool work which

takes away my aches and pains.
