Guest guest
The ad says nothing about not drinking enough milk will cause you to be a DWARF. They're poking fun, yet making a point that if your bones are not strong enough, they wont grow properly. Which would PROBABLY be the reason why only half of her is short. I swear I don't think half of you people would be happy if you didn't have something to complain about.. Amy

Guest guest
No.. it doesn't say it'll make you TALL. It says about 15% of your height is added by drinking milk. It doesn't say " All Dwarfs who drink milk, will add 2 feet in height! " AND it doesn't come out and say that being short is a bad thing! And um.. Aren't achons disproportionate? They're arms and legs are disproportionate to their body. How would you have felt had they used an Achon? You'da been mad! MOST ads elaborate on things to make people buy their product. Shoe companies make u think you can play basketball if you buy their shoes. OOOH LETS ALL run out and get mad at them, because they don't show lp's playing basketball. THAT MUST MEAN THAT BEING SHORT IS A BAD THING! *gasp* *rolls her eyes*
Guest guest
I am really surprised that advertising agencies don't do more research than this. I am not an expert on advertising/marketing, but I do know that most companies will try to contact certain groups (whether it be the NAACP, GLAAD or whatever) to make sure their campaigns are accurate and won't be offensive. Are advertising agencies not aware that there is an organization like this? Or do they not care? pretty_lil_kitten333 wrote: > I am not offeneded by this ad BUT by saying that ur an LP bc of not > drinking milk is false info. Okay ... I will agree to run screaming into Los Angeles and personally reduce the ad agency's large oak door to kindling if you will kindly tell me one thing: Where, exactly, does the ad say that drinking milk prevents dwarfism? Guest guest
Bianca, If a person is allergic to cow's milk, would they still get the health benefits of following this milk protocol using goat's milk? Do you think the goats milk is as beneficial? Also, one place I saw that sells raw milk also sells colostrum. Do you think this raw cow colostrum is beneficial to humans? I was not breast fed and do have immune system problems but at this late stage in the game I don't know if drinking colostrum would help anything. Thanks, Barb drink milk. Guest guest
Hi Barb, Oh yes, goat's milk will work just fine. When I was in California I preferred goat's milk because the cow's milk available at the time was from grain fed pituitary freak Holstein cows. In other words the only difference between it and commercial milk was that it was unpasteurized. So I always used goat's milk. On colostrum, if it is truly raw then it can be some very powerful stuff. It is nigh impossible to find it fresh (unless you have your own farm) but I have used some frozen colostrum with good results. Usually frozen milk protein doesn't work very well unless used within 24 hours but colostrum *appears* to be an exception. Forget the freeze dried stuff, its a joke. If you ever find someone willing to make you medical milk (which involves the use of colostrum) then you will know you are really on to something! BTW, it is never too late (short of death). There are no incurable diseases, only incurable patients! yours for better health, Bianca On Tue, 05 Mar 2002 13:13:05 -0600 Barb Carr <bdcarr@...> writes: Bianca, If a person is allergic to cow's milk, would they still get the health benefits of following this milk protocol using goat's milk?
