Guest guest
Yep, much estrogen comes from fat. Estrogen is said to be very calming, energizing, and is also said to help verbal skills. I have much less pain after taking thyroid meds. In fact, thyroid meds alone put me into complete remission for 11 mos. It was another hormone that triggered a new flare. But I'm back in remission again at the moment. I don't think you mentioned which adrenal book you were referring to. The book I hear most about is the Jeffries book (I already have that one). I have a ton of hormone books. I do know one thing is that adrenals won't have a chance if there isn't enough support from the thyroid. Not a chance. When adrenals struggle, then the immune function is impaired. Because that's is what adrenals do. It isn't just fatigue, it's immune function. Actually reduced function in any one of the glands will impact the others & spiral into various symtoms and diseases. I don't think this is off topic. For me, this was incredibly relevant to my RA pain. I think everyone should be tested as perhaps they might also benefit. Unfortunately, you won't get testing from main stream doctors. You have to learn from others who get tested on their own, you have to read books, and you have to find doctors who understand hormones. This is different from endocrinologists, who tend to just treat diabetics. Amy C Stonkey wrote: > > Wow Amy thanks for your input. Guest guest
Hi Amy, Sorry this took me soo long to respond..I went out of town to my grandbaby's 4th birthday. The adrenal book is called Adrenal Fatigue. I lent it to a friend so I can't tell you who it is by but not Jeffries. As soon as I get it back I will post the name of the book. Cooky I don't think you mentioned which adrenal book you were referring to. The book I hear most about is the Jeffries book (I already have that one). I have a ton of hormone books.
