Guest guest
, Fear is correlated with adrenal fatigue. Being easily startled is another feature of it. However, considering you almost died at the hands of a doctor, you could be experiencing a little bit of post traumatic stress and who wouldn't? If you are, then adrenal fatigue would just intensify this AND some people's adrenals get weak from stress such as what you experienced. I would like to recommend you pick up an copy of an excellent book called " Adrenal Fatigue " by Dr. . I got it a couple of years ago. It sounds like the book could really help you and it gives a very detailed understanding of how one develops adrenal fatigue and what to do about it. The book is very well written with a wealth of information including lots about stress. Fear? I was just recently diagnosed with adrenal fatigue. Don't remember what the numbers were but I know my cortisol was below normal, especially in the morning and later in the evening. I also have hashimoto's and just switched from synthroid to armour a week ago. Over the last several months I've been struggling with some irrational fear. Not anxiety...I don't feel worried or anxious. Just fearful. Part of it could be because I was super sick last year and almost died (at the hands of a doctor...long story) and I have this fear of getting sick again even though I am very much on the mend. My fear is worse in the morning and right before bed which seems to correlate with my cortisol levels. Is fear a common symptom of adrenal fatigue? Or could other hormones be out of whack? Or is this just a result of my experience last year. Fear is not something I've experienced before. i am a very energetic, positive person. I don't like this feeling and can't shake it!! I want to go back to enjoying life to the fullest. The only supplements I'm taking are C, B complex, DHEA, and a multi vitamin. Any advice would be helpful! Guest guest
Yes, fear and panic attacks both correlate to low cortisol. Years ago I would get mine the worst at bedtime which I now know is when my cortisol levels were too low. Now it tends to be mornings, which is currently also when my levels are the lowest. Yesterday, when I had a particularly bad crash I had the most irrational fears you can imagine. Other than a couple of errands I didn't leave the house because I felt just a general fear but I realized it was part of my adrenal crash. You need to get on cortisol if your levels tested low, . You can start by ordering Isocort online and following the dosage ramp up schedule on this group's website. Cheri Fear? I was just recently diagnosed with adrenal fatigue. Guest guest
Fear is a low cortisol sypmtom! Cortisol enables us to handle stress and when ti is in shirt supoply the adrenals often will dump out adrenaline in stead which only makes the fear worse. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
