Guest guest
I was just recently diagnosed with adrenal fatigue. Don't remember what the numbers were but I know my cortisol was below normal, especially in the morning and later in the evening. I also have hashimoto's and just switched from synthroid to armour a week ago. Over the last several months I've been struggling with some irrational fear. Not anxiety...I don't feel worried or anxious. Just fearful. Part of it could be because I was super sick last year and almost died (at the hands of a doctor...long story) and I have this fear of getting sick again even though I am very much on the mend. My fear is worse in the morning and right before bed which seems to correlate with my cortisol levels. Is fear a common symptom of adrenal fatigue? Or could other hormones be out of whack? Or is this just a result of my experience last year. Fear is not something I've experienced before. i am a very energetic, positive person. I don't like this feeling and can't shake it!! I want to go back to enjoying life to the fullest. The only supplements I'm taking are C, B complex, DHEA, and a multi vitamin. Any advice would be helpful!
