Guest guest
Just a note: When I was on antibiotic therapy because of a colon rupture, my R.A./Lupus/Lyme went into remission for around 6 weeks. I stay fairly pain free with the use of oral amoxicillan. I am taking it for the Lyme, but it brings my R.A. factor, etc., down, too. **************Ideas to please picky eaters. Guest guest
Do you have any information about the anti-inflammatory nature of antibiotics. Celebrex and other anti-inflammatories I have taken never lowered my R.A. factor, SED rate, etc. My daughter's friend is a microbiologist; and when she was working at Schering-Plough, she was doing research on R.A. She said researchers still do not have a clue as to what causes R.A. My doctor says that the antibiotics are actually killing the spirochete which is chronic in my system and is causing the R.A. factor, etc., to elevate. I worry about any treatment for my diseas(es) having a toxic effect on my body. I truly do want to know about any knowledge you have about this. Thanks, **************Ideas to please picky eaters. Guest guest
That was because taking antibiotics on a daily basis acts like an antiinflammatory!
