It can be prevented by installing a firewall on your PC. Mac owners don't have to worry about this. You can protect yourself with free firewalls that can be downloaded on the internet. I have the Kerio firewall, and my husband has Zone Alarm. You can go into www.dogpile.com and put in " free firewall " to find out how you can download them. I am amazed at how many times I am alerted to different websites, trying to get into my computer. I thought my virus protection would be enough, but it only covers e-mail. I love it - even when McAfee tries to update my virus protection, I get a notification asking me if I want to let it through. I totally destroyed my husband's business computer a couple of years ago by opening a virus attachment, so I'm very sensitive to these things. When you scroll to the bottom of it and click " Accept, " you have agreed to the terms of the EULA. Part of what you will have agreed to is to have monitoring/spyware software installed on your computer which will periodically report a vast array of data back to the card company. Some Hopi were for the pipes, while others were not--fearing the enslavement of water bills and taxes. So what will the new world look like on the other side of this metaphorical (or perhaps literal) death? The challenge for many persons is how to feel appreciation when there is seemingly no reason for it. By the way, apparently Coretta King died without having received treatment from Dr. Kurt Donsbach, yet this Quackwatch NCAHF zealot group still promotes something entirely different...?
