I have been on biaxin, and it does help. I would like to find a physician who is interested and experienced in using AB protocols. I moved from the D.C. region, and I don't have a doctor in this locale. I am also seeking a lawyer who specializes in social security disability applications. I was turned down by one lawyer in the Raleigh area, and I'm not sure why. Any help finding a lawyer would be appreciated. E
Guest guest
Thank you for the list. I recently called Watkins office because his practice is nearby. His office didn't seem to think that he does AP any longer. Does anyone happen to know him? Can anybody confirm whether or not specific doctors on this list do practice AP. Cost is a consideration, as I can't afford to see someone who wants me to pay for numerous lab tests. I've already had $15,000 in laboratory tests that indicated extensive exposure for various strains of salmonella and also to another bacterial agent. My doctor, who specializes in rheumatology in the D.C. area, is very conservative and only gives me the biaxin because the Enbrel is not sufficient to reduce the inflammation and also because the combination of the Enbrel and biaxin is the only approach that keeps me functional. Under most circumstances, he wouldn't prescribe an antibiotic for a patient. However, he doesn't specialize in AP. By the way, as I am sure many of you know, it is very easy to get the wrong diagnosis. I was first diagnosed with reactive arthritis. It takes a very good clinician to figure out the difference. Sigh. My original doctor, in Fairfax Virginia, was convinced that I had chronic lyme, but I never pursued that path because the treatment was prolonged and very expensive.
