Guest guest
I wouldn't exactly call TJ's a " health food store " . They do carry a lot of organic, preservative-free food, organic or growth-hormone-free dairy, some raw imported cheeses, sprouted breads, some decent meats, recycled paper products and " natural " cleaning supplies, and the like, but they also have a lot of junk food. Their candy and cookie aisle is murder on anyone trying to avoid refined sugar. They're more of a gourmet shop with good prices than a health food store. I shop there pretty regularly, for a handful of specific items. They do have great prices on just about everything. I heard they recently announced they would be removing all GMOs from their store-brand foods. I don't know if that means they won't have any GMOs in the store, or it it only applies to the TJ's brand. - I suspect the latter (not that all the other brands would have GMOs, but they will only guarantee their own brand to be GMO-free - any of the organic products are already *supposed* to be GMO-free).
