Guest guest
Cheri, I have a little of the browning patches only on my legs. I cannot say that it is getting worse but then I am stage 5, not 7. Guest guest
sorry to butt in here,,,,but I have some brown patches on my right cheek. Ive had them for about 5 years or so. I thought brown pigmentation only happened with addisons disease. is it possible with just adrenal fatigue and can they disappear with hc? > > > > Is anyone else in stage 7 dealing with 's skin issues like > browning > > and brown patches in the skin? Guest guest
Yes skin pigmentaitn can occur from just adrenal fatigue if your cortioslis low enough, and it can also reverse if you get the cortiosl levels high enough ot correct it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Vitiligo is an autoimmune disease all it's own. It is DARK areas of skin that low cortios causes not white patches. Vitiligo does seem to go pretty regularly with Hashi's though. All thoae autoimmune buggers seem to crowd in together. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Actually, Vitiligo is also a symptom of 's according to several websites on 's. I have both the brown patches and patches of Vitiligo, though the Vitiligo seemed to come first. Cheri -----Original Message----- Vitiligo is an autoimmune disease all it's own. Guest guest
Is there a difference between the brown patches and what they call age spots? Do they get darker with the sun? > > Actually, Vitiligo is also a symptom of 's according to several > websites on 's. Guest guest
I think the reason you can have both brown patches and Vitiligo in 's or adrenal insufficiency is because it is a defect in melanin in both cases and adrenal insufficiency does something to destroy the protein. I read a great article the other day and I wish I could find it. I do know that both thyroid and adrenal patients have reported Vitiligo but the brown patches seem to only be an adrenal issue. http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/diseases/facts/vitiligo.htm
Guest guest
They probably look the same. Yes, the adrenal ones do get darker in areas exposed to the sun. The main thing is, with adrenal problems you will also get the brown ones in areas never exposed to sun although they will likely be a very faint brown unless sun hits them. Mine started on my hands, went to my forearms, face and neck, then eventually covered me entire body. The ones on places like my breasts you can barely see since the are so light but the ones in sun areas are very noticeable and look like liver spots. I also suddenly got a bunch of dark moles which is also an adrenal symptom I found out this week. I just know I used to have very even peaches-and-cream skin and now my skin is so horrible between the moles, brown patches, white patches and cherry angiomas...oh yeah, and blue veins sticking out due to thin skin. Needless to say, I cover nearly every part of my body I can! Very depressing. Cheri -----Original Message----- Is there a difference between the brown patches and what they call age spots?
