NOT TRUE. Sometimes some of the underlying adrenal stress is CAUSED by sex

hormone imbalances. At any rate though we need to correct adrenals then thyroid

first THEN oyu need to check and address any sex hormone imbalances, they may or

may not correct when the thyrodi and adrenal are right.

SO, should I take the saliva test 25 days into my cycle rather than

the 18-21 suggested?

I would still take it the 18-21 days they suggest so you sex hormone

testing is valid.

I just did the Diagnos-Tech saliva testing. I had no idea where I was

in my cycle but the naturopath said it was fine. I ended up starting 4-

5 days after I did the testing. The lab results show different ranges

based on where you are in the cycle so we just used the luteal phase

ranges. So, if you are using the same brand, it shouldn't be an issue.

I had testosterone, estrogen, progesterone and cortisol tested. HOpe

that helps.

Good call, you're right, it does give you diff ranges for different

times of the cycle. I never thought about that before. Im doing it,

before I spend the money. Besides, I feel my worse around that time

anyway, so I can see just how bad my cortisol is around that time of

the month. Thats when mine will be too, like 5 days before I Start.
