Guest guest
Got lab results back today. Shows obvious Hypo. but am I correct that I have antibodies? Would the antibodies create a mild fever? Could this be the reason my temps went up? Suggestions? I question your doctor's judgement. Since you are not on T4, you should be aiming for FT3 ~= 6. That means you should drop your dose to ~60 mcg T3, assuming the HC brings your adrenals up to a reasonable level. If she drops you to 37mcg T3, esp. if you still have rT3, it is very likely you will go hypoT. I've never heard of anyone with primary hypothyroidism who can make a go of it on nothing but 37mcg T3.
