Minocin dosing

I went to see Dr. S in Chattanooga in November and was prescribed Minocin, along

with Flagyl, Nizoral and another antibiotic.

 

I was not able to begin the meds right away, but am ready to start now.  The

problem is I don't remember exactly how he told me to take them (ie dosage and

what days).

 

I have emailed him (which he said was the best way to contact him), but he

hasn't written back.  I really wanted to start this while my husband was off of

work so he'll be here if/when I herx.

 

Does anybody know how much and when I should be taking of each medicine?  I

don't know if the Nizoral and Flagyl are to be pulsed or not.

hi beth

i saw dr s too. he never answers e-mails though he tells you he will. he

told me to take 200 mg mino MWF 250 mg flagyl 2x a day MWF and diflucan

150 mg once a week. i believe if you take nizoral instead he recommends

3x a week.

many on marge's ap board are patients of dr. s'. you could post there.
