Guest guest
I'm sorry I cannot say anything about PA because I have RA but I do know you need to read www.rheumatic.org/faq.htm and www.rheumatic.org/started.htm and get The New Arthritis Breakthrough book by Henry Scammell. http://roadback.org/ is another site where you may find people who are on antibiotics and have PA. I would say to start on antibiotics and have your blood tests done again in 6 weeks or more. Sometimes it takes a while to show up in the blood. In 1997 I too could not dress myself. I could not get out of bed and could not sleep for all the pain. When I went into remission I promised myself I would not abandon this site. If you start on antibiotics a year from now you will promise yourself the same thing. Good luck cooky From: rheumatic [mailto:rheumatic ] On Behalf Of drinkglory I was told two weeks ago after 3 months of pain I have psoriatic arthritis. I am looking for a doctor who will help me with this treatment. Has anyone had any success with this type of arthritis. My doctor said my ra result was negative can this treatment still help me? I loved the question when does the pain end!!! I would add When can I dress myself again? Get out of bed without it taking 5 minutes even stand on my own.
