Guest guest
Hi, I am the classic Lupus, R.A., Lyme story. I need to dig through old files to find numbers; but, suffice it to say that A.P. saved my life in my opinion. I date back to what I think was a tick bite in the 70's. I was diagnosed as spider bite and/or flu and went on to have an enlarged spleen, diagnosis of Lupus, then R.A. with Lupus tendencies and finally Lyme in the early 90's. My counts were off the charts for R.A. factor and SED, and I had high ANA on Methotrexeate and Plaquenil. After several years of differing A.P treatments, my counts are now normal; however, I still fatigue easily and during weather extremes have achey joints. I, too, want the world to know what a blessing A.P. can be. Also, because of the early years, I have deformities and joint replacements. I began 100mg 2x daily for about 3 mts. I then cut back to 100mg 2x M,W,F for a few more months...then down to 100mg M,W,F. This is the dosage I am currently taking. This Sept.
