Ultrasimple diet

Dear all:

Having received a book from a friend, the UltraSimple Diet by DR. MarK Hyman, I

wanted to share my experiences.

Today is my 4th day of the 7 day diet...his book makes references to autoimmune,

leaky gut, inflammation etc... anyway...today I noticed that I feel veryyy good,

much better...not as stiff, able to move...(My diagnosis is SD and RA)

There is plenty of information on this diet online so no need to purchase the

book.

I know many of you already have special diets re type, etc...but wanted to toss

this out there...I have had a rash on my arm for the past 10 years...It is gone

now...I liked the fact that this DR also recommends the Epson salt/Baking soda

baths...I am not hungry...and look forward to adding back in the usual allergy

offenders, one at a time...to see what I may have sensitivities to -- this diet

is no dairy, no corn, no wheat, etc. I did make the veggie broth in his book but

hated the way it tastes...so as he says, altered the diet to suit me...I am

doing veggie juices...and only salmon...he also allows organic chicken. I do a

hot rice cereal for breakfast and then the Ultra shakes for lunch and have been

having brown rice, broccoli and salmon for dinner..not bad...not bad at all..

More info is available at www.ultrasimplediet.com

Hope this helps some of you...I found the diet easy to do and adjust to and

surprisingly....DR Hyman had said it helps with cravings...it did...normally, I

have a hard time avoiding any Starbucks...Just putting it out there for FYI
