Hi Debbie,

does your doc check 25 D and 1.25 D? It looks like first is low and last is high

in patients with Th1 disease.

Subject: rheumatic Vit D restriction

Early on when first diagnosed, there were some physicians thinking I had

sarcoidosis...thus Vit D was a NO NO and I was directly to never take any foods

with Vit D or a Vit with D in it, etc..and restrict my time in the sun....It was

deemed later that no, I did not have Sarcoid...and DR. Whitman felt strongly

that Vit D plays an essential role in helping those with these diseases...he has

my Vit D levels cked routinely every couple months to be sure I am high

enough...and truly, I do feel much better in the summer when I get more sun and

I am on a supplement now...starting slowly a couple times a week....

Yes, DR Whitman gave me a list of what he wants cked here in town and my local

Internist handles it all...she is great...and has no problem following DR.

Whitmans lead.
