Guest guest
I'm on 90 mg. of Armour Thyroid for hypothyroid and have, thyroid nodules for last couple of years and Adrenal Exhaustion. (Awaiting bloodwork test results and followup doc visit to treat adrenals.) I get anxious and many times take Zanax so it doesn't go into a Panic Attack. I try to deep breathe, do something easy to take my mind off it, etc. and take Zanax only when I need to. But, when this over-anxiousness comes upon me I lose my appetite and can't even eat (similar to in first trimester of pregnancy). About an hour after taking Zanax I can eat again. Any ideas? Guest guest
The anxiety is low cortiosl and when ACTh goes high and your adrneals cannot produce cortiosl they sump out adrenaline instead, Thsi puts your body in fight or flight moce which eating is NOT a part of. It releases glucagon from the liver to raie your blood sugar as supposedly you are nto thinking about etaig just survival. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
