If you've got a progesterone deficiency, cream may not be enough.

When I was in the midst of my miscarriage in Spring of '06 I insisted

they checked my progesterone despite know-it-all doc telling me I had

had a healthy baby 3 years before so I couldn't possible be low in

progesterone. Well, he ate his words. My level should have been 20+

and was 1. So I have a bottle of Prometrium that I keep on hand in

case I ever need it again.

There are also progesterone injections that many reproductive endos prescribe

for cases like this.

I had to use progesterone vaginal suppositories everyday till over 1/2

way through pregnancy. I had a healthy baby boy.
