Guest guest
You have depressed cortisol 3 out of 4 times during the day. Your DHEA is still good which indicates you have an earlier stage of adrenal fatigue where the cortisol is crashing but the DHEA is still high enough. What natural glandulars are you on? One thing I can tell you from being on glandulars for 4 years, it is really hard to regulate how much you are getting in terms of cortisol or anything else in the glandulars since most will say 900 mg of adrenal cortex or whatever. That doesn't give you enough information. I think you should track your temps 3 times daily starting 3 hours after you wake, average it and track the averages day to day to try to get .2. I also think Isocort would be a better option than glandulars since even though it is a glandular it gives you the specific amount of cortisol you are getting. The reason your test results could be fine in May and not now is because you are getting worse. Colder weather can bring this on, stresses, etc. If you were fine to begin with, the weather or more stresses would not affect your test results because your adrenals would have enough reserves to keep up. This indicates your adrenals never had the reserves to begin with. Cheri Hello everyone - Test result Hi, I am new to this forum. I would appreciate any help in analysing my adrenal stress test result. This was taken when i was on 100mg of T4 only. My GP has since put me on natural adrenal glandulars. Thanks Cortisol levels: 0700-0800: Result was 3.5 (ref 12-22) 1100-1200: Result was 7.3 (ref 4-8) 1600-1700: Result was 1.5 (ref 3-7) 2300-0000: Result was 0.8 (1-3) DHEA levels: Sample 2am: Result 1.65 (ref 0.3-0.7) Sample 3pm: Result 0.99 (ref 0.3-0.7) DHEA to Cortisol ratio: Result 10.1 (ref 0.8-3.5) This test was undertaken in November 2007. I did a similar test in May 2007, in which ALL levels were within ranges. It just show how much you can trust these tests! .
