For the first couple days of my reduction to 20mg cortisol, I actually had temps around 98.2-98.4 (higher than my usual 97.9-98.1) This morning I took just 1 IC (which makes the usual 4 including the 3 I took at 4 AM) and 1/2 grain Armour instead of the usual morning dose of 3/4 grain. I ate a small brunch (12 carbs) and the usual 1.5 units Novolog, and BG went from 78 to 136! And my temp came in at 98.6, which I would *not* expect with the lowered IC AND lowered Armour. Could the reduced IC in the morning (excluding the 3 at 4 AM) have pushed up adrenal function? (which might mean that 4 in the morning is NOT an adequate subreplacement dose - but that will have to wait for test results in 4-5 weeks). How long do people generally wait after first going to 0 IC before doing test - I'm thinking 15 days to be safe, Jim
