Guest guest
Eva, I'm sure I missed it, but could you please tell me which pharmacy in Canada you get your armour thyroid from. I was lucky enough to speak with a pharmacist where I work that gave me three months worth of lower dose armour that he had, so all I have to do is take two each day, but there is absolutely none anywhere in my state, adjoining states, etc., and believe me I've check - very scary, as synthroid is ot a viable option for me. I would be interested if your could tell me what exactly I would have to do, and I'd imagine that would entail faxing the Canadian Pharmacy my script. I'd appreciate any help you could give me on that - truly worries me that the pharmacies in the US don't even have an anticipated date of when it will become available again. Guest guest
Armour Thyroid is on back order here in Northern Virginia. The pharmacist said the swine flu et al has caused a shortage. You are fortunate to have gotten some. The Canadian Pharmacies may also be out of stock; please let us know if you are successful. Guest guest
Naturethroid and Westthroid are similar; my doctor put my on it last month due to our shortage in GA, and I'm doing fine--rumors of bad batches and pharmaceutical companies not wanting Armour on the market due to its popularity and wanting to market Synthroid more. Guest guest
the only problem with Synthroid is that it doesn't contain both t3 and t4 and therefor it would not help me. Guest guest
The other problem with Synthroid is that it is entirely chemical. Armour Thyroid is natural, desiccated thyroid. ________________________________ From: rheumatic [mailto:rheumatic ] On Behalf Of Eva Holloway Sent: Wednesday, September 16, 2009 9:46 PM rheumatic Subject: Re: rheumatic Re: For Eva - Armour Thyroid the only problem with Synthroid is that it doesn't contain both t3 and t4 and therefor it would not help me.
