Guest guest
Does anyone recall about this time last year there was talk about a product put out by Bodydrench called wipe-out that was supposed to help loss of pigmentation of the skin. It was carried by Sally Beauty Supply if I recall correctly. I tried for months, and the link that was posted on this board remained out of stock. I have gone to a local Sally Beauty Supply, and although they carry Bodydrench products and lotions they were unfamiliar with Wipe-Out. Does anyone know if this product still exists, and how I can order it. Thanks Gail
Guest guest
Hi- I have never heard of the product, but I'd try almost anything to get rid of my spots. I did a google search and found a lot of places that carry it. But from the ff. description, it doesn't sound like it would help us, unless you know differently. It says, " Unique aloe vera gel formula adheres topically to effectively fight sun spots caused by skin fungus Tinea Versicolor. With continued use, sunspots resistant to tanning will be eradicated. " I didn't think the skin hyperpigmentation from the Minocin were related to a skin fungus? Guest guest
BTW, it looked like the Wipe-Out was listed in many places, but when you actually try to buy, they are all unavailable. Sorry for getting people's hopes up. But, I also think it was made to fight white fungal spots and not hyperpigmented ones. Guest guest
Thanks to all that responded. I have since posting also found places where this can be obtained, so I am willing to try. I know that when it had been posted last year the person stated it totally resolved her issues with white spots, so I am anxious to give it a try. I will keep you posted. Guest guest
No, sorry, I was referring to the white spots I've had even before being diagnosed with RA, Scleroderma, Raynauds, and Sjogrens. It is like vitaligo (hope I spelled that correctly. It is loss of pigment in circles on the skin - I have them on both forearms.
Guest guest
Gail, White spots? I thought WE were talking about dark hyperpigmentation ones?
