Guest guest
Hi Sohelia! Thank you for ringing me up the other day. It's been much too long since we last talked. To get to your question re: Tastes! I have not noticed any changes in preferences. I always felt that tastes were acquired and when one has not had a certain food like fruit, it might be that you have just lost the sensitivity in your taste buds. I have not heard of this before. But you raise a good question. I would like to see if others out there have the same symptom. You couldn't tell by me because as you know, I eat everything and anything that is in front of me, I may try the broth that is on after Thanksgiving. It wouldn't hurt to lose a few lbs. I have never been on a diet in my life nor have I ever fasted. I've never been super fat nor super skinny. My weight has not fluctuated since 2005 when I initially got so sick and lost the 40lbs. Forced fed myself with those protein shakes till I gained 20 lbs back and have stayed the same since. Taking Minocin was a big help in getting me stabilized at that time. It was wonderful talking with you again. I promise now that I am sort of settled down again, that I will keep in contact with you and the group of friends. Best to you, Dolores & Mike From: Petty <jamesapetty@...> Subject: rheumatic Re: problem with sweet taste fruits rheumatic Date: Tuesday, November 11, 2008, 1:23 PM For me at least I can say I've noticed no change in diet preferences. > > > I have scleroderma. few months after the early disease syptoms showed up I noticed that I don't like to take fruits as I used to.
