Guest guest
Sally, you certainly have my respect! I don't know many people who can say that are on the raw diet. If you can do this, you can do the antibiotic protocol. Wow. remission from SD for about six years now....or close to it. In a message dated 10/31/2010 7:33:09 P.M. Mountain Daylight Time, mannasal@... writes: wow, so much info on this site and people who are in charge of their life/disease. I've been 90% raw diet for about 5 months (RA 4 yrs) and my body likes it....I also lost lot of weight...needed to. I live alone and don't go out, so easy to stay on raw. Times I get lazy, or feel crappy(ier), I order delivery....which makes me feel crappier. So, even though I've gone a ways to go for healing, I know the raw diet i'm on helps, and keeps me healthy on some level. sally rheumatic newb _rheumatic _ (mailto:rheumatic ) Date: Sunday, October 31, 2010, 4:16 PM Ill give a quick introduction this is the first time I've posted. I'm Charlotte turned 25 and I have been diagnosed with RA been going to the doctors like it's christmas. I refused the drugs already only a few months ago. Some days I'm good and somedays I feel like all of you on here. You know the feeling. I am even refusing to take voltaren. I just bear the pain. I live in Australia and met one of your recommended doctors. He is doing some tests for me from some really good clinics as I really would like to know what started this even though there might be a one in a million chance of finding the culprit. I had ebv when it started but it was really severe. This other lady I know had it for a year took enchinacea and she got over it. No pain just a swelling occasionally when she had meat. She was off meat altogether and grew her own herbs and juiced. That's what I'd like to do but i can't juice everyday it is really costly. However I felt better eating certain raw foods now I'm worse I've not been strict enough I guess because I have family. It feels hard not to be able to eat with them so I'm finding that a little hard. I also heard recently on the news about this cream for arthiritis. Once I get these tests done I'm going to try some. I've been holding out on trying treatments until then but this cream is all natural. It works on arthiritis however the person who makes it is not a doctor. He was in the army and whilst overseas he observed the natives over there. They were using a mix of fruit for wound healing. Anyway he put his finger into some hot oil and then put it in his mixture and walla his burn had healed. Ill see how it goes and let you know. Anyway my current doctor is doing the tests for mycoplasma chyamidia and then gut bugs and then allergies which I am very grateful for. He has also suggested MP which im not sure about yet. The main reason I think I'm worse is cause I have not stayed on my alkaline diet completely. I started eating tomatoes potatoes and meat back which I shouldn't have. The thing is what do you eat for protein if I give up meat that's safe even though I hate to give it in I will do it. I am a fairly thin person so I need a fair amount of protein otherwise my veins stick out. Any suggestions and as for iron I know that it can contribute to more pain as it helps the bad bacteria or just the bad stuff do their worst. What do you do when it comes to iron as it plays an important role in other things as well? Guest guest
Charlotte, Welcome to the group. I am so sorry that this hit you at 25. Attitude counts for a lot and yours is certainly optimistic. As for topical relief, my Mom's chiropractor has her soaking her hands in brewed ginger. She finely chops about 1/2 cup of ginger (sorry, I don't know the metric conversion) You could also put it in a blender to save your hands the pain of chopping...boils it in about a liter of water (I got that one!)Let it cool some, and soak hands (or aching body part) for 10 minutes. You can refrigerate the solution and reuse over 3 days, soaking twice a day. Do warm it up before each use. Just don't use a microwave oven, the chiropractor said. Many have found relieve with this inexpensive, natural remedy. Hope it helps.
