I used to see dr. Kempf, a rheumatologist in Arlington; he prescribes

the antibiotic protocol if you request it.

I have a mom who was diagnosed with DM about 15 years ago. In the beginning, she

was on prednisone for a long time and we gave up on medicine because of side

effects. It is really hard to find a good Dr who knows about DM around this

area. We are trying to find a Dr for her so that she can get back on treatment.

I live in close to Fairfax county, VA area.
