Well, start by reducing the amount of alcohol you drink until you get to the

point that you are either drinking a juice of some sort or plain water with a

piece of lemon.  An occasional small glass of wine sipped throughout the night

should not cause problems.  It is generally not wise to mix medication with

alcohol.  But just to be absolutely sure, you should ask your doctor that

question. He/She knows what medications you are on and how they react to alcohol

and how you would react to the mix.  We are all different in our reactions.  The

best to you.  Dolores & Mike

Hi, just wondering what everyone else does when they suddenly are told they

cannot drink while taking Methotrexate? What about alcohol and Minocycline? Am

on mtx. now and have stopped drinking which is a shame since alcohol is at so

many social functions that I go to.
