Guest guest
Yes, PMS can contribute to it as I always get worse the week before my period. Stay away from caffeine, Tammy, it is bad for adrenals. www.adrenalfatigue.org has more info. I think bringing your doses closer will help, but wait until after your period to make the change since you will be able to tell better what is causing what. Also, your dosage should be highest in the morning so your next ramp up should be 7.5 mg at 7:15 am. In a healthy person morning cortisol is highest, and if that is your lowest, that is where you need to focus most. And of course graph your temps as you ramp up to know how you are doing. Cheri Re: Cortef and the time to take it if working. I am low in the mornings. I didn't think about the fact that I could take them closer than 4 hours. Today I did: 7:15=5 12:00=5 4:30=2.5 My head has been spinnin alot and swimmy headed but I'm feeling good. I am having PMS so I'm hoping that might be contributing to it. This is only day 15 of taking cortef so I haven't got it down to a pattern yet. Also, do you drink caffeine with cortef or do you stay away from it. Thanks Squarepants. Tammy .
