I also tested negative for everything, but the pain in my hands was so bad I

didnt want anyone to touch me. I did the methtrexate for a few months and got

very sick from it and the pain got worse. stopped that and started on humira.

while waiting to get in to see a DR that would do the AP. started minicycline in

september and saw immediate results! I started on 200 a day and got very

sick, stopped, and re stared on 50 a day and worked up to 150 and got sick

again, so now i just do 100 a day and Im fine! I went from bad hands, feet,

shoulder and hip, to being able to ride my horse again. I take NO pain pills.

(was taking narcotic pain pills a year ago) so Im very pleased wioth the AP and

I think if you are neg on all your tests and not had the RA for long, it may

work for you too. (I believe that once you have alot of damge to your joints,

thats cant be fixed.) Kathy

Hi, Kathy. When you say you did 200 mg Mino. per day and got sick...how did you

get sick? Did you take M every day or every other day? On 100 mg. per day do you

take it every day or every other day?

as i have been on mtx for 2 years now and ap for 1 year....doc's want to add

enbrel as i still have so much inflammation. i have reluctantly agreed. just

wondering if you did the biologic with the ap or just the ap alone with good

results.

Have you tried the MSM for your inflamation?

It has completely eliminated all inflamation for Mr Perfect,

and he has stopped using both the Humira and the mtx.

He has absolutely NO inflamation, NO heat, and NO swelling.

His Sed rate has normalized, and his C-reactive protein has

dropped to .23

He currently takes between 9000 mg to 12000 mg of MSM

per day, depending on when he remembers to take it..

It's so wonderful to have him feeling so good that he

forgets about the RA and the medication.

Kathy did you stay on the humira or just ap alone? What do you mean very sick,

worse ra symptoms or something else?

I have been on mtx,prednisone 2 years along with mino 1 year and now they want

to start me on enbrel. Looking for hope.
