Guest guest
About the dancing! Obama said that about when they danced on Inauguration night. Did he quote that from Fred Astaire? My, you have a lot of letters after your name. How long did you have to go to school to get those? Thank you for telling all of us about Lysine and Zinc to prevent cold sores. Now tell me, why, when I was a child, I always broke out in cold sores. The frequencies diminished over time and now I haven't had one in about 20+ years. I have not taken zinc or lysine! Did I lose my virus on my lip? Guest guest
No Dolores you did not lose the virus. Most people who have never even had a cold sore have the herpes virus in their body. It can stay dormant for a long period of time and then under stress or extreme sickness especially with a fever it can come out again. You can also get cold sores on the genitals and it will be called herpes. It is the same virus but called a different thing so having a cold sore sounds better than having herpes. Working in an STD clinic as a nurse I went to school especially for this. cooky From: rheumatic [mailto:rheumatic ] On Behalf Of mike rosner Sent: Saturday, January 31, 2009 6:39 AM rheumatic Subject: Re: rheumatic lysine and zinc About the dancing! Guest guest
Hi Cooky! I knew I didn't lose the virus, but wonder why the symptoms never reared it's ugly head again. It used to start with a tingling sensation on the corner of my mouth. And that explains why the last cold sore I got was the day before my daughter's wedding. I remember being so upset because, who wants a cold sore at a wedding. Turns out I must have had an inkling that this marriage was not going to last and it didn't. If I ever get another cold sore, I will take note of what is happening that day and know it is omen of unpleasant tidings. Thank you, Cooky and how are you? I see your posts all the time and don't know much about you. I am a retired nurse. My daughter will be graduating in May. She is in the RN program. She went back to school and finally is finishing. I am so very glad. Take care, The best to you, Dolores & Mike
