It has been said that you can take a break from minocin for up to 4 weeks

without losing ground. I take a weekend off every few weeks, and a week off

every few months, to give my gut a break.

I would think you would be fine either waiting for the Minocin, or taking a

few of the generic until the Minocin arrives.

What brand generic were you sent?

Thanks. I can't read the brand--unless it is Ranbaxy.

I believe Ranbaxy is a generic manufacturer, so that's probably correct.

I'm not sure if it makes any difference if you are off the minocin for such

a short period. I think you'll be fine whichever way you go.
