lol, it sounds like I'm not the only one surfing vegan websites!

It makes a pithy argument, but logically it is only valid if you

subscribe to fruitarianism, an offshoot of veganism in which only

fruit is allowed. The theory behind fruitarianism is that plants want

us to eat their fruit in exchange for us distributing their seeds. In

other words, fruit is designed to be a food.

Other than milk, nothing else is designed as a food. Carrots don't

want to be ripped out of the ground by their roots. Cows don't want

to be slaughtered.

So unless you're prepared to argue that fruitarianism is healthy, the

argument doesn't make much sense.
