Guest guest
I thought it was legal to sell raw milk in stores in CT...have you checked with Whole Foods? ----- Original Message ----- From: Ramit Sent: Thursday, February 28, 2002 12:10 AM Subject: Got milk?/ Help wanted! Re: your recommendations for carb sensitive/diabetic/insulin resistant people That sounds great... except that I have no car (and no funds for one!) and the nearest place selling raw milk is 30+ miles away (I'm in New Haven, CT). _________________________________________________________

Well, it's probably so because this group is about nutrition. Ignoring the stress factor and paying attention only to nutrition seems analogous to depressing both accelerator and brake pedals in a car at the same time. There's a doctor, Walt Stoll, who is very adamant about dealing with chronic stress, and he has had very good results with this approach. I'd strongly recommend reading his following articles: - http://www.bcn.net/~stoll/stress.html -- Modern Medical Interpretation of Stress - http://www.bcn.net/~stoll/immune.html -- Immunity and Stress - http://www.bcn.net/~stoll/relax.html -- shows what to do about chronic stress Roman ---------------------------------------------------- Sign Up for NetZero Platinum Today Only $9.95 per month! http://my.netzero.net/s/signup?r=platinum & refcd=PT97
Guest guest
Hey there! Just found out a nearby health store sells raw milk! It's only 7 miles away, so I can bike there and back (*that's* excercise, I think I'd keel over if I had to bike 50 miles in one day to get to the nearest farm!). Their farmer is sick, so they have none now, but two weeks from now, here I go! Ramit p.s. Who was it that had kefir grains to spare? p.p.s. Stress management is key! Interesting how Dr. Stoll defines stress more broadly than I mean- he would include tripping over a rock as stress! Does make sense. I have to say that I am as relaxed as you can imagine given that this is my second term in Law School! I am known as the slacker of the school, and I have a rule that I don't work in the evenings unless there is a looming deadline, and I see friends at least twice, but usually more a week! Nevertheless, for example, with a 20 page brief due in 5 days, I am stressed! _________________________________________________________
