Guest guest
>>In light of my botched temp charting, I am wondering if there is any value to taking my 1pm and 4pm temps for the 1st 9 days of January and averaging those (ie leave out the 10am temp that was only 2hrs post awakening) and comparing that with my new regemine of 12,4 and 6 (the 12 and 4 part). Or is there just no salvaging the old temps?<< If you find your noon tempo is pretty stable then it would be fair to say it may have been stable before as well. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Varying up to a whole degree. Even more variation is seen if I include the days when I was running a fever. I have been charting now since the beginning of November. I am at 30mg of HC but have been as high as 35mg and though I might see 2 or 3 days where the temps are stable, they don't stay there. I am hesitant to go any higher with the HC as I am of slight build. I am 5'7 " and weigh 127lbs (down 10lbs since starting HC but that could be because I am not bed bound as much) I don't know where to go from here. I had that big emotional stress on New Year's that really set me back. I am better, but still significantly fatigued from it. I reached 30HC at beginning of Dec and with the infection I had I stress dosed several days. One day I had as much as 52mg. Then I backed down to 35mg and stayed there for over 2 weeks. Now I am afraid that I have been taking too much and that the reason I am not bouncing back is that I shut my adrenals down by taking higher than my physiological dose for too long. I have been checking my glucose periodically 1st thing in the AM and it is between 83 to 104 (only 2 over 100) with the average being 94. My BP is low - 100/67 pulse 90 sitting and 94/77 pulse 106 standing. Any thoughts? Thanks, English

I thought my temps weren't stable either, but now that I have several months' worth of data, I see that my temps oscillate slowly up and down, in a monthly pattern, following my cycle. I had a supracervical hysterectomy so still have my ovaries and cervix, and obviously, a cycle. Most days the difference in temps is less than .2 degrees (sometimes average is the same!), but the trend is either up or down, which confused me. And my temps go above 98.6, but only for a few days each month. They also go as low as 98-98.2, but also, only when they bottom out each month. So I'm wondering if this is what's happening to you. Can anyone else with a cycle confirm this? Barb

But I dont see any type of pattern. They just seem to go up and down sort of erratically. I also have CFS and I am beginning to wonder if that has something to do with it.
