Guest guest
To treat low cortisol would be low doses of HC (Cortef, or HC cream)- some do well with vitamins that are necessary for the Adrenals, and some who are further burntout need the mild HC. The pituitary gland is responsible for a few hormones, it depends which one's are low in order to best treat them. Do a search for 'hypopituitarism'', and ''treating hypopituitarism''. Hypo means pituitary is slowing down not working so fast. I have a doc appointment on monday and he mentioned he noticed pituitary problems, so I'll find out what he's giving me, and let you know. I'm almost positive it depnds what hormone the pituitary isnt putting out needs to be corrected, at least thats what I've read.
