Guest guest
Carol, I have both a digital and regular (mercury free) thermometer. They both seem to give me the same reading. Be sure that when you take your temperature that you haven't had anything to drink that would make your mouth warmer or colder, and that you haven't eaten, exercised or showered in the past 20 minutes. Sometimes I take mine more than once just to double check it. In the beginning, I had huge swings like you described. If you really feel it's not accurate, by a regular thermometer and compare. Guest guest
That is not only possibe but quite normal. Temps should start really low when you first wake then rise slowly through the day peaking in the early evening then lwoering again towards ebdtime. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I know some have had good luck with digital thermometers, but the ones I tried are junk. My temps are still all over the place, but I know the thermometer is acurate! :-) I have started carrying a timer with me that beeps when it is time to take my temp. This has helped more than anything to help me remember. :-) Cherie Experience: that most brutal of teachers. But you learn, my God do you learn.--C.S. > > I have just started trying to take my temps on a regular basis, > it's really hard for me to > remember to do this. > > Today, in the morning my temp showed 98.3.
