You don't have to go off Armour, swallow it the day you collect saliva instead

of taking it SL.

It's HC and adrenal supplements that you need to be off of for saliva testing.

How long should you refrain from taking Isocort or any HC prior to

testing. My mom is weaning off HC and would liek to test to see how

she is doing.

For accurate labs she will need ot be off both for at least 2 weeks prior to

testing.

If she begins to show signs of still needing the adrenal support,

should she refrain from doing the saliva testing for a few more weeks

prior to doing the saliva tests?

Also, her doctor mentioned doing a morning blood cortisol test

instead. Would this bee a good interum thing for her to do? Or should

she also be off the meds before getting blood work done as well?

For me I woud not push my body off HC for testing if I started having

symptoms. I o not feel blood cortios is accurate either while on HC as

if you do ti as the doctors suggest bvefore oyu r AM dose, you wil

lalways be low so what does that tell you?
