Guest guest
Okay, I've kinda been putting this question(s) off, because I thought temps would start levelling out by now! How long does it take temps to stabilise on HC, and is it something that just 'happens' or do they just slowly get closer? Do adrenal pain/spasms/etc. have to be pretty much completely gone (or 'controlled') before temps can stabilise? Anything else that might keep temps from stabilising? Being rather hypo (below range FT3...possibly for about 16 years)? Low aldosterone (my sodium was a bit below range at 133, despite that I can go on salt binges)? Would starting thyroid help? I'm too where I'd really love to, and wish I had some. I've been feeling soooo tired and seem to go very hypo whenever a dose of HC starts wearing off (2 hours after the dose--right around when adrenal pain/spasms come back...gah), and am to where I wish I had Armour so I could start up on that (very slowly), regardless of unstable temps and obviously still unhappy adrenals. I had really unstable temps before starting HC, and while more stable, they're not 'stable'. They looked best (zig-zag line, .3 - .4 changes in daily average) the few days when I was raising 2.5 mg a day. I tried stopping around 27.5 mg (and changed dosing a couple times), and then I just increased that to 30 mg HC (cream) a couple days ago. I'm still getting 'hyper' rushes with little changes (like changing to a different, possibly more absorbable iron, or extra HC for a day). I'll be adding B12 in a couple of days, which I figure might use up some extra, too (and then I'll probably *really* wish I had armour, as I think temps have been dropping/been feeling rather hypo/tired/etc. after 'hyper' type stuff). Also, random question: Is the 'can't get up in the morning' problem solvable? Takes me 1-1.5 hours till I'm awake enough to even get to the HC. After HC, I can get up just fine in 10-30 minutes. It is better than the 4 hours or so it was taking before the HC, though, so... lol ~Jen
