Guest guest
Good Morning Val, Woke at 5:00 am with pulse 103 (generally around 80), a lot of anxiety, some chest pain, belching. Drank 400 mg Natural Calm magnesium and put some progesterone/estrogen cream on my wrists which brought down my pulse. I'm dosing Cortef 7 1/2 (7:00 am), 5 (11:00 am), 5 (3:00 pm), 2 1/2 (7:00 pm). I read through a lot of posts on high pulse, but it's totally confusing. Is this a high cortisol thing or a low cortisol thing? Do I need to do anything with the dosing? I've often had these symptoms to varying degrees even before starting Cortef. I've been to the emergency room 3X thinking I was having a heart attack, and I've had several heart tests, but they never find anything. BUT I THINK DOCTORS ARE GENERALLY UNTRUSTWORTHY, so I don't believe them. The thing is, even if you have a heart condition or a viral infection of the heart (as Cheney and Lerner propose), getting the hormones balanced properly can only help you, right? Thanks Again, Violet

I would add a bedtime 2.5mg to your dosing, no sweets after 5PM adn eat high protein snack at bedtime wiht the HC. This is caused by adrenaline which is released when your cortiosl is running too low and you become hypoglycemic. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
