Guest guest
>> questioned the (seemingly obsessive) need to pretty much sterilize everything to keep it free of parasites. I've always believed that a great deal of these critters live in harmony with us and are what keeps us healthy. << I agree. It's like yeast: we all have it everywhere in our bodies, but a healthy host body won't have health problems from yeast, whereas someone with compromised health will be overrun by it and further debilitated. I suspect it's the same for parasites, like the mange mites in my eyebrows (yuck!), usually there but unnoticed until the health reaches a certain low when they begin to overpopulate and cause the health to deteriorate further in a downward cycle. I also suspect that's what was meant by whoever said healthy animals don't have parasites. ~ Carma ~ To be perpetually talking sense runs out the mind, as perpetually ploughing and taking crops runs out the land. The mind must be manured, and nonsense is very good for the purpose. ~ Boswell Carma's Corner: http://www.users.qwest.net/~carmapaden/
