Hello

I have scleroderma and my RF is negative.I asked my

doctor today to prescribe Metronidazole and

ketocanazole for me today. I AM ON MINOCIN SINCE 10

MONTHS AGO. Do you know if this triple antibiotic

works for scleroderma too or just for RA?

I appreciate your advice.

Thank you

Hi Soheila,

I only know of patients with RA having success with the triple

combination.

BTW, ketoconazole (Nizoral) is an antifungal and is used as treatment

against potential yeast (candida) infection. If you know that you do not

have

a fungal problem, ketoconazole is not nessecary.

Good Luck'
