Guest guest
Hello I have scleroderma and my RF is negative.I asked my doctor today to prescribe Metronidazole and ketocanazole for me today. I AM ON MINOCIN SINCE 10 MONTHS AGO. Do you know if this triple antibiotic works for scleroderma too or just for RA? I appreciate your advice. Thank you soheila --- Wiesboeck <rawie@...> wrote: > Hi , > Dr. Sentef's treatment uses Minocin (2 x 100 mg), > Metronidazol > (Flagyl)(2 x 250 mg) and > Ketocanazol ( Nizoral) ( 2 x 200 mg) every day until > blood values are > normal (ESR and CRP) If you are RF positive this > factor is the most > reliable indicator. > It takes from 3 to 6 months to reach normal values. > About 80 % of > patients respond > successfully. > Good luck, > > > tickmeister1 wrote: > > > > Do you know what the triple antibiotic treatment > is? Guest guest
Hi Soheila, I only know of patients with RA having success with the triple combination. BTW, ketoconazole (Nizoral) is an antifungal and is used as treatment against potential yeast (candida) infection. If you know that you do not have a fungal problem, ketoconazole is not nessecary. Good Luck' soheila A wrote: > > Hello > > I have scleroderma and my RF is negative.I asked my > doctor today to prescribe Metronidazole and > ketocanazole for me today.
