Guest guest
Just increased my armour by 15mg to 3.5 grains (6.30am 105 12.00pm 60 5.30pm 45) and take 25mg T4. I was on 3.25 grains for 2 years and was still way to tired/fatigued to get through the day properly. My doc (doc Hertoghe-a thyroif specialist) advised start with HC due to adrenal fatigue. I started but 2 months later stopped becuase ít didn't 'feel right' (intuition not mind). 2 questions 1.I just increased a small amount (15mg) and for a few days I felt much better like I always do after a dose increase. Is this normal, a good or bad thing? I understand ofcourse that extra t3/4 is nice - kind of like doping! If my adrenals were so bad surely I would feel worse after an increase? 2. When do you know you are taking enough Armour? I know you should dose for your symptoms, but is there a point (through temps, of feeling well, labs) that you know you have hit your 'sweet spot'? Anyone else spend years till finding their sweet spot? And does it last? I read that someone needed 11 grains of armour before he felt better! My labs were ft3 5.6 (3.2-6.2) ft4 12.2 (10.2-17.2) and TSH <0.05 Thanks for any wisdom/sharing.
