Guest guest
No No No! One month's worth of antibiotic protocol of any kind of antibiotic is not enough time for a test. Try one year and then see. This is not a qucik cure protocol. R U just looking for a bandaid or do you want to go the distance. If you go the distance, you may or may not see a difference, but it is worth the try. Nothing else you have said, so far has worked apparently. I think it is time you all stop focusing so much on the symptoms and concentrate on a cure. This is all starting to sound like one giant pity party. Start the antibiotics, wait a year and then re-evaluate.  That is the way A/P works. Take the meds or other things you do to feel better with hormones, etc in the meantime, give the antibiotics a chance.....Dolores From: Cooky Stonkey <cookee1@...> Subject: rheumatic ATTENTION LINDSEY rheumatic Date: Saturday, October 2, 2010, 7:52 PM  Hi Cooky, Oh, those are the three ingredients that Dr. Ahner requested to be compounded ..... progesterone, DHEA, and testosterone. Apparently I am beyond deficient. I've been depressed forever it seems and if it brings me an amazing sense of ll being then they would have to " pry it out of my cold dead hands " * *too. I love that Cooky. Laughed out loud over here. I haven't slept well for years. I cant even remember sleeping more than 4 hours in a row. I have weened off Colonzapam /Kolinipin (sp?) 1.5mg to .05mg. I should just let it go entirely and try ala natural. THIS IS NOT THE BEST TIME TO GO OFF YOUR MEDS. IT WOULD STRESS YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM AND YOU DON'T NEED THAT RIGHT NOW. I am eager to begin the Doxy as a test but wonder if just a month would be enough time for a test? I AM SORRY TO SAY THIS BUT NO... IT WOOLD NOT BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE CAN GO MONTHS AND MONTHS OR LONGER BEFORE SEEING PROGRESS.THIS IS NOT A FAST TREATMENT. BUT THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO SEE RESULTS QUICKLY AND I HOPE YOU ARE ONE OF THEM. He will prescribe it to be taken every day. YOU SHOULD TAKE IT 100 MGMS MWF 2 TIMES A DAY AND START SLOW. START WITH JUST 100MGMS ONCE A DAY M AND F THEN ADD WEDNESDAY. IF YOU SEE INCREASINGLY BAD SYMPTOMS GO BACK to starting dosage. IF YOU DO OK WITH MWF 100MGMS THEN START TO INCREASE AGAIN. YOU SHOULD READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THIS SITE http://rheumatic.org/support.htm Thank you for sharing your experience. I feel better starting the cream today in fact, I can't wait! I'm heading to pick it up right now. HOPE ALL WORKS OUT WELL FOR YOU. ENJOY THE HORMONES. Cooky

Guest guest
Hi, When I first started I took 200mgms of minocin MWF and herxed sooo bad for sooo long. I did not know it was a herx at that time I thought I was just never going to get better. I now would add antibiotics slowly so maybe I could have avoided the herx. All that quick die off of bacteria made my body freak! Now there are some people who start out everyday twice a day and have no problem. I don't know why. Bad symptoms...increase of joint pain, more joint involvement, more swelling, can't sleep because of the pain, shuffle when you walk, if I happen to get down on the floor to do something I could not get back up, depression, brain fog. One of the most important things is to stay away from sugar and carb foods including breads. Good luck Monday! cooky Good stuff Cooky. I agree about not going off meds. I am not but it is a goal of mine. I will read http://rheumatic.org/support.htm tomorrow before I begin Monday. (Nurse forgot to call my scrip in friday) Monday is the day. Guest guest
Lindsey, for whatever reason (and I'm sure an educated reason) doc S. starts people out on AP 100mg twice day every day. After about 2 weeks and I felt so much worse than worse, and wanted to die.....he did say yes it is working, but I don't need to die, so put me on 100mg twice day MWF. It was still pretty crappy, so I went to 100mg once day MWF. Besides the pain/flares of RA, I'm feeling much less intense, so thinking on Mon. to start back twice day MWF and see how that goes. I want to kill these little f-----ers (sorry, but that's what I feel they are), but don't want to kill myself too. I've been on AP 12 weeks, LDN 10 weeks, so very very early.....but with my original herx when starting AP.....I'd say it's working!! Read everything online and from Road back foundation to understand this AP. Sally Re: rheumatic ATTENTION LINDSEY Good stuff Cooky. I agree about not going off meds. I am not but it is a oal of mine. Guest guest
your email Cooky is a good reminder for any of us to get well educated before starting AP. I'm on a raw food diet...love it. no sugar, dairy, wheat. I drink lots of water a day....I have Kangen water unit. I have not had any brain fog, in fact, my brain is bright and alert, and very good memory. For me depression more around pain. For being homebound, I feel most of the time, content and gratitude....and yes, will honor the day I can actually walk outside and feel the earth!
