Guest guest
Ellen how HIGH a dose of HC have you tried? At this point does it matter if you get some Cushings symptoms? I think I would tyr ot get rid of your low cortiols symptoms at amny cost, an that will enable you to raise the htyroid. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Mayo Clinic did nothing for me, except take thousands more dollars. Sorry to say, they do not know it all. Guest guest
I was at 30 mg and trying to raise the T3...and then traveled and stressed dosed 30 mg which did nothing on the trip and still trying to recover. My posts from the last several days may help you remeber. I am doing the protocol you gave me of lowering the cortef. I don't do good higher or lowering. Their just seems to be no difference in anything I try. Cognitively things are changing. Staying on top of all this is faltering. I see a hemotologist tomorrow to see if there is anything going on in the blood and hopefully looking at nutrients. I have done the IV vitamins but could not make the drive and the back went out from so much driving to the point I cannot do it anymore. This new doctor hopefully can get the IV vitamins approved and I can start them again My body does not seem to absorb and the more I eat the more I lose. I have dropped muscle and way too much weight. What could be causeing the weihtt loss and muscle loss even thought I am eating all day. I started with whey protein to hopefully gain weight. I know people have the reverse but with no meat on my but it makes it so difficult to sit. The pain in excruiating. Sorry for being so long but maybe this helps you with more info to help me Is anybody going through this? Tahnks Ellen > > Ellen how HIGH a dose of HC have you tried? What could be causeing > the weihtt loss and muscle loss even thought I am eating all day. Your statement above triggered a memory for me. My mother was given a medication that caused that kind of weight loss and loss of muscle mass, no matter what or how much she ate. She got really frail and skeletal looking before her doctor finally realized her weight loss was a side effect of one of her meds. In fact he might never have changed it except I insisted he figure out why she was wasting away. sol > > >
Guest guest
This may not apply to you at all, but I lost considerable weight upon becoming hyperthyroid. Hope you begin to feel better soon. Im also lifting heavier weights and dont feel nearly as fatigued after a workout. Im only up to 12.5 mgs and already seeing some positive signs,,although I do still feel tired and irritable in general > > Ellen the only thing I cna think of that will cause this weight > loss is LOW cortisl and it can cause that.
