You could always get HC cream and go rub some on his skin in the morning

while he sleeps so you don't have to wake him, lol.

Adrenal fatigued people have a hard time getting up in the morning and Dr.

says we should sleep at least until 9 am each day. I think even if he

wakes up at 11 am and takes it, after he is on enough and his body rhythm

balances, he will naturally get up earlier.

Importance of taking adrenal meds at 8/9 am is

morning cortisol is low????

Thanks Nil and SeaLady for the helpful tips.

My son's cortisol is below range at 8 am and above range from noon right

through the rest of the day and evening so, yes, it would make sense not to

just take it at bedtime as I was thinking.

And very good idea about having TWO lots of meds just in case.

It occurred to me I am worrying unnecessarily I think about the Isocort

because it is non-prescription. Am I right? I have to order it from the

U.S.? What happems if one lives in the U.S. Can you just stroll into a

health food store or vitamin store and buy it without prescription?

I am having major problems trying to get my son UP and out of his bed to

take his early morning dose in the early morning i.e. 8 am (ish) as he has

got into a pattern of going to sleep around 2 am and waking around noon or

later!

So this morning he called me the 'sleep police' because I got him out of

bed at 10.30 by forcing him to wake up. (We have our ways hee hee hee). I

HATE people waking me up before I am ready so I empathise but I am having

trouble getting through to him that he needs to take his Isocort earlier in

the morning if it is to have any effect of getting his rhythm corrected.

Am I fussing unnecessarily about this as I sometimes do not rise myself

until 10 or so and then take my first dose of h/c?
