Guest guest
Arlynn, that is why we have the OT4VAX group alongside this Vaccinations group, so that people can share other information, eg what to do during various health emergencies. Time and again, Sheri & Sue have exhorted us to take such posts to the OT4VAX group in an attempt to leave the Vaccination group free for its original purpose. There is no way that Jim would belittle people just starting out on the non vaccination road. He does far more than most to educate people about the dangers inherent in vaccines, and he's been doing it for far longer (by decades) than most of us. He feels the pain of those who have lost their children to vaccines, whether they have lost their lives or lost their full potential. Alas, the written word makes it difficult to elicit nuance, but Jim would not intentionally set out to hurt - perhaps it's disappointing to see the Vaccination group filled with personal health problems. Perhaps it has just been so successful, far more members than most other vax groups, so it can be quite easy to miss the true vaccination posts. Many of the posts would be superfluous if people used their search engines more. We are blessed with access to Sheri's website, yet it seems that few use it, and few search previous posts to see if their questions might have already been extensively covered. we all like the immediacy of having many people answer questions, but it can be quite time-consuming. How many times have you recently seen Sheri's post about the brilliant article on ear infections? She has to keep posting it, as the same question keeps popping up. I hope this clears it up, and please believe me, it is not my intention to cause offense. And speaking of vaccinations folks, this is supposed to be a forum about vaccinations, most of it is advice on what somebody should take when their kid is sick. A good book down at the Health food store will answer most of those questions. I remember a time when many of you were telling us what you were doing to educate others and confronting the pro-vaxers with a little of our own medicine-the truth. > I would like to see that again. > > JimO' Dear Jim: I am so grateful you take your valuable time to tell your truth. I get to the end of your wonderful post today and you belittle mothers just starting to walk the path of health. Not cool Jim. It's a cheap shot at women in need of immediate help to do the right thing for their families. Once parents get a whiff of vaccine issues and step outside the realms of allopathic medicine, they fight the system and oftentimes their spouses and own mothers and need emotional support and instant knowledge from the collective of parents who have already travelled this path they are attempting to walk. They are afraid to take their kids to the doctor b/c he'll start pressuring them to vaccinate. Their kid gets an earache and a flu or whatever and they have now nowhere to turn for help in the here and NOW. Without emotional support from others, they end up back at the allopath (which of course sometimes they need to go). Patience, is all I'm saying here. It sounds like you need some good wars to wage and that's good too. But, not at the expense of making a new mom feel badly that she reached out to the only place she felt comfortable asking for more information. I see it as a matter of Big Picture vs. Little Picture. Both aspects are important. In Peace, Arlynn
Guest guest
Arlynn Sorry, but I don't think I belittled the female gender. If that would have been the husband I would have said the same. I don't know what part of my post you considered " a cheap shot " but if not giving advice and giving direction to where to get answers is a cheap shot then I am guilty as charged. I really don't understand how anyone who is not legally licensed can tell somebody to take drugs. That is totally wrong. I didn't tell her not to take drugs, I just told her and everybody else that drugs are poison. I said buy a couple of good books on both sides and make your own decision about how to treat the boy. She wasn't talking about vitamin C she was talking about drugs. There are only two kinds of people anyone should talk to about drugs. One is the drug pusher and the other is a drugless healer. Did you noticed I suggested buying a PDR. I have one and I don't have any little kids. I can't understand why every parent doesn't have one. My point I thought was very clear. Educating oneself is the right thing to do.. With all due respect, there is no one on this list who is qualified to prescribe drugs. If a person takes their doctor's word then they have to understand if something happens to that kid, the doctor won't lose one minute of sleep. You folks need to understand. Iatrogenics is the number one killer.. Young people today need to hear what us old timers( that's compared to you youngsters, I don't really consider myself old. Just using it as a reference.) have to say who have been drug(no pun intended) through the fire. Whether you realize it or not, this drug/vaccine is in a state of war. The establishment is not playing any games. They are playing for keeps. The people who know me on this list know I wouldn't put anyone but a pro-vaxer down. But I will keep screaming from the top of my lungs that drugs are poison. I will take on anyone who thinks drugs have some magical power to heal. The short term benefit of feeling better may not be better than the long term direct effect of the drug. Anyway I think if you read my response again, a little slower, you may realize my shot wasn't cheap, it was simply what I would say and did say to my own daughter.
