Guest guest
Yes to both: prometrium is a brand of progesterone - I call it the " egg one " it looks like a soft gel egg, it is suppose to be the next best thing to natural progesterone cream, my ins. Won't pay for the anymore so I have been on prometrium for several years now. So far I haven't had a problem with it as far as I can personally tell it has not bothered my adrenals, anyone else know??. SeaLady Has anyone taken this ?? it says in perentethesis {progesterone}- does that mean its progesterone?? I'm confused. Im suppose to take it day 18-27 of my cycle to help with PMS issues? Will this hurt me with my adrenal fatigue at all?? or hypoT issue? Thanks katie
Guest guest
Thanks. Does it help you at all? Im not sure which I'll end up with yet with my insurance. AS it was, the new doc I saw doesnt accpet ANY insurance nor is affilated with any, and the scripts he wrote me, Ive got to take to my primary and get him to re-write them. Pain in the butt. They were through the roof, like 300$ for some water pills, the prometrium, and armour. Guest guest
Prometrium is the only commercially made natural progesterone available, BUT the half life is only 8 hrs. and therefore should be taken every 8 hours.? It can also be very sedating when taken orally.? If you can do the cream you would be much better off. ________________________________________________________________________ More new features than ever.
