If you " file this away " you must accept your current state of health the way it is. I would want to treat the problem. You're one step ahead of many here because you've actually got a doctor who will prescribe HC! Barb

Cortisone was 87 (ref: 92-366 ug/24hrs urine) Cortisol was 16.2 (ref: 3.1 - 22.4 ug/dL blood) >> Elevated cholesterol (bad is high, good is low) > from low thyroid >> Hashimoto's thyroiditis (had this for 5 years - taking Levoxyl for that) > Levoxyl is ineffective for most >> My FT3 and TSH are in normal range > What exactly are lab values and ranges? TSH is 2.3 (ref: 0.350 - 5.500) FT3 is 3.4 (ref: 2.3 - 4.2) I feel too jittery when TSH is lower or FT3 is higher. >>However, I'm always out of energy and feel run down. > From low thyroid Or maybe low testosterone? I picked it up from walgreens and the precautions are very scary. --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage. Guest guest
Yiou can clear it up with a simple sal;iva test you can order yourself from www.canaryclub.org ther eare 7 stages of adrneal fatigue. The early ones cortils is high the later ones it is low. DHEA can be high in several of these. BTW for the record people do nto become addicted to hydrocortisone, we are born addicted to it as it is a hormone that is necessary for life and when you do nto have enough of it, your body will certainly tell you in very definite terms. The HC we take is taken to replace what our bodies cannot make, this is nto an addiction, btu replacing a hormone we are low in and cannot live without. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
